Kura Natural is an importer, manufacturer and distributor of
natural and organic products from the Caucasus. The Caucasus region has more bio-diversity than
some continents; its natural environment is one of the most unique and varied in the world.
Between 4000 and 4500 native species of vascular plants are found in Georgia alone. We are
working with several scientific and commercial institutions in Georgia that have a long history of developing
highly effective health-related products and plant extracts for their local markets.
Kolchis -- an ancient Georgian region and kingdom in the Caucasus -- was in Greek mythology the home
of Aeëtes, the sorceress Medea and the destination of the Argonauts. Archeologists believe that the
Caucasus is the cradle of Western civilization and many of the herbal remedies and medicinal preparations developed during ancient
times are still in use there today.
The Caucasus is known for its long-lived and healthy people; this can be attributed,
in part, to the consumption of the healthy foods that are available in the region.
Most agricultural products from this part of the world are produced without the use of mechanized
equipment, chemical fertilizers or pesticides -- in ecologically clean environments.
Our goals are to introduce these unique, effective and natural products from the Caucasus to international
markets; to introduce North American products to the Caucasus region. Our brand represents the highest
quality, purity and efficacy.
